The TAK rooftop bar in Växjö is now open!

Architectural Solutions recently installed the windows of the rooftop bar of the eagerly awaited new PM & Vänner Hotel, which opened on Monday 26th April. Situated in the city of Växjö, PM Hotel is the latest project from the acclaimed restaurant, PM & Vänner. Designed by Lindvall A & D and Arkitektbolaget, PM Hotel pairs haute-cuisine with Scandinavian design.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Architectural Solutions were responsible for the supply and fitting of the external glass walls that form TAK, the hotel’s rooftop piano bar. Three of the four walls of the 160m2 space were constructed using PanoramAH! Series 38 profiles in aluminium, reinforced with steel to support a strong wind load of up to 50 metres per second. The windows feature glass to glass corners, and measure  4.1m high and up to 16m wide. Profiles are fixed, sliding and motorized, offering easy access to the outdoor pool and spa area.

 

The minimal profile of PanoramAH! Series 38 creates minimal distraction, thus enhancing the bar’s impressive panoramic view over the city of Växjö, while offering optimal protection from the elements.
